Our Purpose
Biblical faith is not “blind faith,” nor should yours be. Biblical faith is the assurance – or foundation – of things hoped for and the conviction – proof or evidence – of things not seen. Scripture acknowledges the natural skepticism of humankind and says little to condemn it. Instead, through Scripture God encourages man to seek Him (2 Chronicles 30:18-20; Acts 17:22-28; Hebrews 11:6) and promises when we do, we will find Him.
This website offers educational resources and services aimed at helping our members make informed, personal decisions regarding their faith and, more importantly, their eternal home. Our purpose is not to convince others of anything, although we readily confess our prayer is you will find the materials and services convincing. Instead, we hope that by sharing our faith journeys you will find the answers and comfort you are seeking as we help each other work through our own spiritual questions and doubts.
Our Founder's Journey
Seekers Like Me was created as a result of our founder's personal journey of faith. For years Rodney has had a passion to share what he is learning with skeptics like himself. A natural worrier, - a gift from his mother he will tell you - Rodney's desire is to address your doubts and offer you support and encouragement.
Seekers Like Me is a growing source of information and services for members to gain inspiration and guidance in our spiritual pursuits. It is intended to be as much a mutual journey as it is a source of information for those seeking truth. Truth is of the essence. In the end, whether discussions include personal experiences of God working in our members' lives or include results of our research, we want to help you discover and accept the truth - not that which Rodney or others think is true, but the absolute truth which is forever true.
